1997

The first step in the creation of Setoa. SETOCEAN Srl European Maritime Transport Company – Ocean.

1998

SETOA ITALIA SRL is born by integrating air, multimodal and cross trade services: European Maritime and Air Transport Company – Ocean & Air.

2003

The Group has 8 offices:

Lissone – Italy, Valencia – España, Dakar – Sénégal, Abidjan – Côte d’Ivoire, Douala – Cameroun, Accra – Ghana, Bamako – Mali, Ouagadougou – Burkina Faso.

2006

Setoa Cameroun starts logistics and clearing activities launching the group development and transformation process in West Africa.

2009

Setoa Italia SpA is born. The group expands its presence in Italy with the creation of Setoa Genova Srl.

2014

Creation of new offices in:

Miami – United State, Libreville – Gabon, Shenzhen – China, Kinshasa – D.R. Congo. The group reaches 13 offices and 100 employees.

2015

Setoa updates its IT systems integrating a new management system for all Setoa offices over the world. Updates its brand with a fresher look changing the logo.

2017

20 years of Logistics, Quality and Services. Setoa celebrates its twentieth anniversary by presenting the project of the new headquarters.

2018

Setoa Italia SpA completes the transformation process with the inauguration of the new building of via del Concilio 5 in Lissone.

2022

October 24, 1997 – October 24, 2022 Setoa Italia Spa is celebrating its 25th anniversary. Happy Birthday!

2024

On 10 July 2024, 100 per cent of the shares were purchased by JAS Jet Air Service SpA, the national operating company of the multinational JAS Worldwide, a group founded in Italy in 1978 and which today is one of the leading international players in international forwarding, air and maritime, and logistics services. Therefore, today Setoa is able to organise international maritime, air and land (truck and rail) transport for any type of goods to and from all over the world, relying not only on its subsidiaries but also on the worldwide network of JAS present on all 5 continents.
